Department of Cardiology at CIMS hospital, Bhopal started in the year 2003. Non-invasive cardiology lab comprises of designated separate male and female areas with facilities for electrocardiography, echocardiography, a Treadmill Stress Test (TMT) Machine to perform exercise stress test, transoesophageal echocardiogram, 24 hours Holter monitor, 7 days Holter-monitor, 48 hours Holter monitor cardiopulmonary exercise testing, adult and pediatric trans oesophageal echocardiography, DOBUTAMINE stress echocardiography (DSE), two-dimensional (2D Echo) echocardiography and longitudinal strain echocardiography. Non-invasive lab have a state of the art ECG machine from space lab. The non-invasive lab is managed by dedicated non-invasive cardiology consultant, resident and 3 qualified technicians.
